Ke Zhou
Hi! I'm a first-year Computer Science Mphil Student at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology(GZ).
My research interests lie in Virtual/Augmented/Mixed Reality, perceptual computer graphics, and human-computer interaction, with a particular focus on leveraging AI-powered techniques to create more immersive and realistic multimodal experiences in Mixed Reality. Specifically, my interests include:
1)Developing advanced haptic feedback technologies that enable users to perceive and interact with the physical properties of virtual objects.
2)Advancing visual experiences by designing techniques to enhance visual fidelity, spatial awareness and tracking precision.
3)Maintaining high-quality and enduring immersive experiences through the development of more efficient methods that reduce hardware and power requirements. Ultimately, my goal is to enable the seamless integration of the virtual and physical worlds, both to deepen immersion and to extend human capabilities.
Prior to HKUST(GZ), I received my Bachelor's degree at Chongqing University, During my undergraduate years, I was honored to be advised by Prof. Wai Tong from Texas A&M University and Prof. Teng Han from ISCAS
